The South Bend Medical Foundation said summer blood donations have dropped 20 percent and is urging residents to donate a pint to help keep hospitals supplied, a process that takes less than an hour and may save two lives.
A Mental Health Breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, June 6 at 9 a.m. at the Roosevelt Center (215 E. Indiana Ave) to promote conversations on men’s mental health with free registration. The event is hosted by local groups, including House of Proverbs and the 100 Black Sons Initiative.
