  • Due to freezing temperatures, community members turned the MLK Day Walk into a caravan — driving downtown Monday morning to honor the slain civil rights leader. A program followed the drive.  WSBT

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The City has opened two warming centers for residents needing relief from the cold. Fait Mission (801 Benham Avenue) will operate 24 hours with a weather amnesty for overnight stays, while Guidance Ministries (216 North Second Street) offers food, hygiene and shelter from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  ABC 57

  • The Indiana Hoosiers will play Miami tonight in the national championship game after dominating their opponents on the way to this contest. Local fans can follow the live action to see the team's effort in a high-stakes game.  16 News Now
