- ➤ Callahan’s Restaurant, a local favorite for 42 years, will close on Sunday, March 1 after the building was sold following a two-year market period (customers with unused gift cards should use them at Lux Café in Goshen). WSBT

- ➤ The Indiana Black Expo chapter hosted its awards ceremony on Monday, Feb. 16 at a local venue where community leaders and cultural contributors were recognized for their achievements. 16 News Now

- ➤ The free Countdown to Kindergarten program will launch Tuesday, May 26 at local school sites (Baugo, Concord, Elkhart, Goshen, and Middlebury) for children entering kindergarten in Fall 2026, offering Monday to Friday sessions from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with extended care and meals; registration opens today.
