- ➤ For the first time since 2012-13, no Michiana team will compete in Indiana girls basketball state finals — leaving local fans without a hometown representative this season. 16 News Now
- ➤ The Indiana High School Athletic Association announced boys basketball sectional pairings for local schools (including Concord vs. Goshen in Elkhart), with games starting Tuesday, March 3 and continuing until Saturday, March 7. 16 News Now
- ➤ Special Olympians from across the region competed in a day-long basketball tournament Sunday in Goshen. The event, hosted by Special Olympics of Elkhart County, gave local athletes of all abilities a chance to play, make friends (while showcasing their practiced skills) and enjoy friendly competition.
