- ➤ Elkhart City Council approved three redevelopment incentives along South Main Street (including 210 new housing units, commercial space, and a public plaza featuring a Kelby Love mural recreation) on Thursday, Feb. 26. The measures aimed to extend downtown past the railroad tracks. WSBT

- ➤ Elkhart City Council approved support for a new 42-unit affordable housing development on Sterling Avenue next to Sterling Park on Thursday — the project will add seven townhome-style units under a rent-to-own model for residents earning below 80% of area median income. WSBT
