ECONOMY NEWS

  • Data centers under construction are spurring job growth and new housing developments, with hotels and restaurants reporting higher numbers. Experts say the rapid expansion is putting extra pressure on local utilities (calls for upgrades are increasing).  WSBT

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • City officials confirmed that Ox Creek received over $1 million in a federal grant on Wednesday, Mar. 4 to support ongoing cleanup efforts in the city. The funding will boost local projects aimed at improving community areas.  16 News Now
  • INDOT held a meeting (at Goshen High School) Wednesday night to present its plan to expand and reconstruct U.S. 33 from Monroe Street to Maple City Drive amid concerns about traffic and safety.
