- ➤ Strong winds knocked out the traffic lights at State Road 23 and Capital, and the stop signs were blown over; police advise drivers to treat the intersection as a four-way stop until repairs are made. WSBT

- ➤ The Elkhart Library and Premier Arts are teaming up for I Love to Read Month with Suessical the Musical this weekend at the library. The show features Dr. Seuss's Horton Hears a Who plus other beloved books to spark self-expression in children. WSBT
- ➤ Three major concerts are planned locally. Boots on the Bend featuring Eric Church, Hardy and Brandon Lake will take place at the St. Joseph County Fairgrounds on Aug. 15 and 16, while Luke Combs and AC and DC are scheduled to perform at Notre Dame Stadium on April 18 and Sept. 4 respectively.
