On March 21 at 5:29 p.m., the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office reported a crash at the intersection of County Road 9 — County Road 36 near Wakarusa when a Honda Pilot ignored a stop sign and hit a Chrysler, leaving one person dead and multiple others severely injured.
