- ➤ On March 21 at 5:29 p.m., the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office reported a crash at the intersection of County Road 9 — County Road 36 near Wakarusa when a Honda Pilot ignored a stop sign and hit a Chrysler, leaving one person dead and multiple others severely injured. ABC 57

- ➤ Riley’s Media Center won Martin’s grant (the funds will help talented students shine in the spotlight) and will use the award to support its media programs in the coming school year. 16 News Now

- ➤ Elkhart County hosted a State of the Child event Friday that gave mentors and teachers tools and new data to help improve children's lives. The county worked with the Indiana Youth Institute to share stats on well-being, education, and health of kids compared to other states. 16 News Now
- ➤ Hundreds of protesters gathered outside Congressman Rudy Yakym’s office on Grape Road in Mishawaka because he refused to hold a town hall to discuss tariffs, social security, and high prices ahead of an Elkhart small businesses meeting. Yakym said he listens to constituents and meets with residents in 11 counties but will not let disruptive actions derail his work—his office clarified his commitment. WSBT
