- ➤ The owners of Country Strong Events said their wedding venue in Goshen was badly damaged in a fire earlier this week and are working with The Barn at Meadow Brook and Rock Run Creek Barn to help with scheduled events — investigators are still looking into what caused the fire. 16 News Now
- ➤ Child and Parents Services held a 'Rally for Kids' on Thursday in Elkhart to raise awareness about child abusers—speakers said everyone must join the effort to protect children. 16 News Now
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ On Thursday, the Michiana Event Center in Shipshewana will open the 7th annual global circus event featuring 18 unique acts including clowns, dog acrobats, motorcycles and a human cannon ball. Organizers expect over 5,000 visitors and will offer extra family activities — a moon bounce, face painting and camel rides. WSBT

- ➤ An elementary school teacher at Eastwood Elementary School was placed on administrative leave after allegations were raised and she resigned, and the district reported the incident to Child Protective Services—an investigation remains ongoing. WSBT
