EDUCATION NEWS

  • Bremen High School is holding a screen-free day this semester to boost student focus and encourage the use of traditional learning tools. Teachers and administrators will track its impact on learning and mental health as they decide whether to offer the event again.  WSBT
  • Queen of Peace Catholic School received Martin’s grant on Mar. 27 to purchase bags for math teaching tools. The funding + will boost classroom resources for math lessons.  16 News Now
  • Elkhart Community Schools posted a director of transportation job listing on Thursday, though Tyrius Smith still appears as director in the staff directory. The district has not yet clarified if a transition is underway following recent bus driver safety concerns.  16 News Now
