- ➤ Open enrollment begins today for Concord Community School's new full-day preschool program at four elementary schools, serving 80 students starting the 2025-26 school year—funded in part by a $4.2 million grant and Title I dollars—to give children a strong start for kindergarten. District leaders expect the program to boost early academic skills and readiness in Elkhart County. WSBT

- ➤ On Sunday afternoon, officials said some Michiana areas did not hear tornado sirens because of system glitches — the National Weather Service confirmed an EF-1 tornado in Starke and Marshall counties that injured one person. 16 News Now
