- ➤ Early demolition work is underway at the former courthouse and west wing of Elkhart High School — asbestos and lead are being removed ahead of exterior demolition starting in May. Some of the historic high school facade will be saved for future display. WSBT
- ➤ Two outdoor warning sirens in Baugo Township are inactive due to a miscommunication during an alert system upgrade, and officials said a statewide test revealed the fault. Fire departments, Elkhart County Emergency Management, and Elkhart City will meet Monday — to plan a fix. WSBT

- ➤ Steve Squires (a Middlebury man with Parkinson’s) will join cyclists on a cross-country ride from Chicago to Phoenix for the World Parkinson’s Congress to support research. 16 News Now
- ➤ Memorial Hospital started the Books from Birth program yesterday (the first statewide) to give each newborn a starter library of ten board books, helping spark early reading habits.
