- ➤ Elkhart Community Schools will host a disability resource fair today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Elkhart High School—families can learn about local supports and listen to speakers on education, behavior, speech therapy and financial planning—to help those caring for a person with a disability. - ➤ Indiana lawmakers passed a bill to invite Illinois counties to join Indiana—Governor Mike Braun will review the measure today. The proposal will face constitutional and cost challenges as the annexation process moves forward. 16 News Now
- ➤ Elkhart police say their phone system is having issues and non-emergency calls should be directed to dispatch at 574-293-2175 while 911 remains for emergencies — technicians work to restore normal service soon. 16 News Now
