- ➤ The Elkhart Environmental Center will host an Earth Day event on Saturday, Apr. 25 at 10 a.m.—featuring a free tree giveaway, kids’ activities, a spring plant exchange, and habitat restoration work. Organizers expect to give away around 350 trees. 16 News Now
