- ➤ Rain forced the varsity game between New Prairie and Penn High to move from Four Winds Field to Penn High today as fans gathered to support players injured in last week's car crash. A 50/50 raffle raised $4,154—half of which went to the players’ fund while local supporters from Michiana came together for the event. WSBT
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Hoosiers received scam emails and texts on Tuesday warning of unpaid tolls from hacked state accounts — state officials said the account was not removed after a contract was ended and stressed that the state never sends such notifications. WSBT
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Elkhart Public Library announced its Curbside Concerts will return on May 16th at 7 p.m. on the library roof with free weekly shows until June 27—if rain occurs, the concerts will move inside to the atrium. The series also features Jazz Fest shows on June 20 and 21. ABC 57

- ➤ About 2,600 Elkhart County seventh graders visited Career Quest at the Northern Indiana Event Center at the RV/MH Hall of Fame to learn about healthcare, manufacturing, business operations, and construction — students like Goshen's Henry Jeeves explored new career paths while organizers gathered data on increased interest. - ➤ Indiana lawmakers passed House Bill 1461 that may let INDOT add tolls on more highways and remove the 75-mile tolling limit.
