  • Concord High School will implement a new system using (Yondr) pouches to keep students off their phones from first bell to last starting in a few months. The move will help reduce distractions in classrooms.  16 News Now

HEALTH NEWS

  • On Friday, June 26, the Elkhart County Health Department will host a QPR suicide prevention training at Ivy Tech Community College Community Center in Goshen from 2-3:30 p.m. The $15 course teaches crisis recognition & certification to help save lives.  16 News Now
  • In Elkhart, a mental health breakfast event is set to bring local men together using House of Proverbs, a mobile living room that offers a safe space to shed masks and share challenges. The event aims to break stigma around mental health.  16 News Now
