ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Last night, Wakarusa Police tried to stop two motorcycles near S.R. 19 and Nelsons Parkway—both riders fled, sparking a high-speed chase that ended when one motorcycle struck another and caused one rider to suffer injuries and be taken by helicopter to a hospital while the other rider remained unharmed and the investigation continues.  16 News Now
  • Officers attempted to stop two motorcycles near SR 19 and Nelsons Parkway on Thursday at 9:24 p.m. when 21-year-old Dominic Blair of Pierceton fled, leading to a pursuit that ended in Nappanee after he crashed his bike into a turning 2015 Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 26-year-old woman, and he was airlifted to the hospital with facial and head lacerations and a possible broken wrist—while the car’s driver was uninjured.  ABC 57

  • The 45th Rhapsody Arts and Music Festival is underway at Island Park despite damp weather—organizer Liz Stoutenour said over 60 artisan and food vendors are drawing crowds.
