- ➤ On Wednesday morning, the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office responded to a crash on C.R. 36 near its intersection with C.R. 1 that sent driver Jonaisbel Araujo Perez and another motorist to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries—Perez was cited for failure to yield while turning left. ABC 57

- ➤ Elkhart County transferred the old courthouse to the City of Elkhart last Friday and agreed to pay one million dollars for its demolition.
