- ➤ This afternoon a Jeep struck two construction workers at a roadwork site on E. Bristol Street near Martin’s Super Market and Cobblestone Boulevard, leaving one worker with non-life-threatening injuries treated at a hospital while the other sustained serious injuries and the driver remained at the scene to cooperate with investigators. 16 News Now

- ➤ Authorities arrested 61-year-old Mark Lambright—who repeatedly called 911 non-emergency and punched an officer on July 9 at an apartment on Krider Drive in Middlebury—on charges including battery and resisting law enforcement after he grabbed a deputy’s taser and kicked a jail officer during transport. - ➤ Ivy Tech has partnered with AWS to offer classes and programs that will train students for jobs at Amazon's new data center near New Carlisle. Two new data center courses will be offered in the fall and a construction course will start in the spring—providing skills for future work. WSBT
