- ➤ Grace College announced that it will launch a new nursing program in 2026—providing local students a new pathway into health care careers. 16 News Now
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The St. Joseph County Department of Health faced staff cuts and lost local partnerships after state budget measures passed in April—slashing 73% of Health First Initiative funds and $4 million in annual support. The department said these changes will end several community programs after 2025 and result in fewer public health events as roles are consolidated with a pay freeze. WSBT
