  • Visitors to the Elkhart County 4-H Fair can enjoy food, rides, and duck races where longtime hosts Robert Duck and his wife bring their racing flock that has entertained locals for nearly 27 years— the fair runs from July 18 through 26.  ABC 57
  • Alyssa Heilmann rode the Ferris wheel at the Elkhart County 4‑H Fair, which featured agriculture, pop culture, food, rides — and games for local visitors.  16 News Now
  • The Elkhart County 4-H Fair kicked off on Friday at the fairgrounds in Goshen and attracted thousands for a nine-day event celebrating its 152nd year as the largest county fair in the state.  ABC 57

  • On Thursday, the body of 50-year-old Anthony Null was pulled from the river near the 300 block of E. Beardsley Avenue at about 1:10 p.m.—the homicide unit is investigating the case.  ABC 57

  • Country singer Nate Smith canceled his Elkhart County Fair performance due to doctor's orders—American Idol winner Chayce Beckham will headline on Monday, July 21st starting at 8 p.m. with special guest Preston Cooper while ticket refunds are issued.  WSBT

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Indiana cut public media funding following Congress's decision this month—forcing local stations like WNIT and WVPE to reduce programming, staff, and local news coverage. Many at these outlets expressed concern about the changes and plan to maintain flagship programs despite the cuts.  WSBT
