- ➤ A Michigan man, 38-year-old Steven Zick, was arrested in Elkhart on July 15 after he ran a stop sign on his motorized bicycle and fled police, with officers later finding a backpack containing drugs+drug paraphernalia including a bloody syringe needle, and he is being held without bail on multiple drug and related charges ahead of a court date on October 1. - ➤ Vandals broke into the Portage Township Office and tore apart four air conditioning units to steal copper—resulting in an estimated 18,000 dollars in damage and noting two break-ins last week. WSBT
