ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A car hit a moped on County Road 4 at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, throwing the rider and passenger off and dragging the moped before fleeing the scene—both people were taken to a hospital with head injuries and their conditions remain unknown.  WSBT
  • A 25-year-old Warsaw man was injured early Saturday at 4:45 a.m. on County Road 31 after falling asleep at the wheel and rolling his vehicle on its roof, and he was taken to hospital + his condition is unknown.  WSBT
  • Police say 21-year-old Dreavin Richardson died in a motorcycle crash that happened just before midnight Friday on County Road 16 west of County Road 1—his bike slid off the road, hit a mailbox and he was struck by another vehicle with a 20-year-old Granger driver taken to the hospital.  WSBT

CRIME NEWS

  • Elkhart Police are asking residents for help finding Faith Davis—a 26-year-old woman last seen on August 10 near Toledo Road who is about 5 foot 5 with brown hair and brown eyes—and anyone with information is urged to call the police immediately.  WSBT

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Goshen High School students are joining the STAY program to learn about aviation and build a Zenith 750 airplane as a pathway to a career when the course begins tomorrow from 4—6 after school. The program aims to address the local aviation job shortage by giving students hands-on experience and a chance to fly the plane they assemble.  ABC 57
