The Food Bank of Northern Indiana announced its September drive thru food distribution events that will serve 150 to 250 households at sites in St. Joseph, Elkhart, Marshall, and other counties starting September 2.

All distributions will offer pre-boxed or pre-bagged food on a first come, first served basis—supplies last.

Ox Bow County Park will host a dog walk at Ox Bow Haus on Sept 5 at 5 p.m. The walk is expected to last 45 to 60 minutes—participants can choose group or individual routes while doggy bags and water will be provided with directions from the gatehouse.

Elkhart County Parks is hosting a free bird migration walk at Benton Spillway on Sept.
