- ➤ Goshen’s Southside Soda Shop will use a $50,000 grant for exterior upgrades—upgrades that will preserve its historic look after a fire in March damaged part of the building. The project comes as the shop nears its 40th anniversary and helps the Boyd family keep its traditional style intact. ABC 57
- ➤ Lassus gas station in Goshen has unveiled eight Tesla Superchargers—installed in collaboration with Tesla—to serve drivers from Elkhart and Mishawaka. President Todd Lassus said the company will add more charging stations in Fort Wayne. WSBT

- ➤ Superintendents from Baugo, Concord and Elkhart Community Schools will share updates at an annual breakfast event—where they will discuss new school plans and changes. 16 News Now

- ➤ During today's test the warning siren on County Road 6 — 10 near the Marathon Gas Station did not sound and Cleveland Township reported that all three of its sirens are broken; officials said parts from an Ohio company have not arrived and they will seek a faster local repair service. WSBT
- ➤ Elkhart County leaders are asking lawmakers to revise Senate Enrolled Act 1 during the upcoming 2026 legislative session—warning that without changes the act will increase home cost burdens and shrink local budgets. 16 News Now

- ➤ Concord senior running back Reese Breveard finished the first two weeks of his season with 331 total yards and 5 touchdowns and earned a scholarship for Ball State. He improved his game after an offseason of rigorous training—making him a key part of his team’s offense. WSBT
