  • Ryan's Place will hold its grand opening and ribbon cutting on Wednesday, November 5th at 4 p.m. in its new center on Regent Street in Goshen — the 18,000 square foot facility will expand support for children, teens and families who have experienced loss for over 20 years.  WSBT

EDUCATION NEWS

  • The E3 Robotics Center is hosting the Science Spooktacular at the Elkhart County 4H Fairgrounds on 17746 Count Road 34 in Goshen—Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., charging $5 for kids over five. The event will teach robotics and problem solving—showing local students that science can be fun.  ABC 57

HEALTH NEWS

  • Ryan’s Place, a Goshen group that offers grief support for children, teens, and families, opened an 18,000 square foot facility at 1566 Regent St.—built with a $6.3 million budget from generous donors to provide various therapy rooms.  ABC 57
