Here's your local news at a glance for Sunday, the 23rd of November.
Good morning, Elkhart.
🎭 Culture
Downtown Elkhart's Midwest Museum of American Art is hosting the 47th Elkhart Juried Regional — an exhibition of top local art — and the renovated gift shop now offers custom jewelry and other artist-made items.
More art events, including a vintage jewelry class and the museum’s participation in Winterfest, will take place in December.
🎓 Education
This December, Nappanee Public Library will host the Winter Reading Challenge where participants earn punches by reading 250 minutes or attending a program — those who complete three punches will receive a free book and a sweet treat.
The library will also hold a Kickoff on December 1 from 4 to 6 p.m. with a Nutcracker Scavenger Hunt — crafts, snacks, and a cozy drink from Traveling Tom’s Coffee add to the event.
🏈 Sports
The WNDU 16 News Now GAMEDAY team shared key strategies and players to watch — and laid out game picks for the upcoming Syracuse at Notre Dame match.
Their insights aim to help fans understand what plays and tactics to expect during the contest.
