- ➤ A house fire displaced a family of six on W. Franklin Street Monday morning — firefighters extinguished attic flames within 15 minutes with no injuries reported as officials investigate an electrical cause while the family was moved to a relative's home. 16 News Now

- ➤ Purdue remained No. 1 in the AP poll released Monday after beating Texas Tech by 30 points at the Baha Mar Championship in the Bahamas — Indiana earned its first ranking this season at No. 25 after a 5-0 start. 16 News Now
