ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A bus crash on May 8 near New Carlisle left teen Lucas Bradshaw with a traumatic brain injury and his father, Brad Bradshaw, with broken bones while teammates were also injured, and after 125 days in the hospital Lucas has returned home with ongoing recovery goals (his family credits local supporters for helping keep the farm running during his treatment). 16 News Now

- ➤ Families caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s are keeping the holidays calm as doctors say loud celebrations can confuse those with dementia—Dr. Jason Marker advised simple home visits. Debbie Carriveau and resident Olivia Neese stressed that lower expectations and careful travel planning, including packing all needed medication, can help ease holiday stress for caregivers. WSBT
