GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • A pedestrian bridge on Nappanee Street used daily by over 300 school children will be demolished next summer because it has become unsafe. City officials and school representatives are meeting to plan a safe replacement amid budget constraints.  WSBT
  • The Interurban Trolley's transfer center will relocate permanently to Second Street on December 8. Buses will stop on the east side between Tyler and Harrison and exit northbound, while temporary shelters on the west side will remain until new canopy structures are installed in the coming months.  WSBT

  • La Casa Inc. hosted a ribbon cutting on Wednesday evening for the new affordable Lakeview Drive Apartments in Goshen (community members saw plans to expand local housing options).  WSBT
