- ➤ The annual Mistletoe Market (a three-day holiday event) opened Thursday at the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds with food vendors, artisans and festive shopping. - ➤ River Valley Farmers' Market welcomes Santa and a baby goat for a festive holiday event this Saturday at the market + over 40 vendors will offer shoppers a final chance to finish their Christmas gifts. 16 News Now
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Redevelopment Commission approved a project to bring a University of Notre Dame facility to Colfax Avenue—promising new community access and future growth. The plan will move forward in the coming months. 16 News Now
- ➤ PBS Michiana received a $694,000 Public Media Bridge Fund Grant (nearly half its annual budget) to keep its staff and local programs running after state and federal cuts in July, according to station president Amanda Miller Kelley. WSBT
